After starting my journey in the world of open source through GSSOC’21, I got an opportunity to be a part of another great open source program, LetsGrowMore Summer of Code’21. And now here I am with another blog for sharing my experience with all of you. I hope this blog will encourage you all to become a part of the wonderful world of Open-Source :)

So, without anymore chit-chat, lets get started!

What is LGM-SOC?

LGM-SOC is an online program designed to encourage student participation in open source software development under the guidance of mentors from the open source community. Many sessions are organized by the team to help the participants get started with their contributions.

This program is beginner friendly as well so even if you don’t know much about Git/GitHub or any tech stack, you can start your journey from this program.

You can check more details regarding the same on their official website.

Projects to which I’ve contributed :-

During the program, I contributed to the Web development projects and DSA practice questions repository.

Projects to which I have contributed during the program were:

My overall experience was great and I highly encourage everyone to try being part of these open source programs. You will get to learn a lot of new and exciting things😁…

At last, I just to want to tell you all that:

Things may seem tough at first, but if you are passionate about learning, you can overcome any hurdle…

Thank you very much for reading!
